Barry Rukoro has defended his position as president of the National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO), arguing that his election was legitimate and followed the expiration of the previous leadership’s term on March 3, last year.

The division in NUDO deepens as a faction under Barry Rukoro called for a media conference this morning to announce NUDO's technical-political collaboration with Swanu of Namibia.
