UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed says the road since its formation has not been easy, adding that the world body is now confronting never-before-seen challenges.

President Nangolo Mbumba has reiterated Namibia's confidence in the United Nations' ability to deal with global challenges of conflicts, humanitarian crises, and pandemics.

Dr. Mbumba highlighted the world body's pivotal role in a statement to mark UN Day, which is observed on October 24th every year.
