4 of the 7 inmates awaiting trial, who escaped from the Ngoma Police Station, appeared in the Katima Mulilo Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

The 5th escapee was re-arrested on Thursday morning.

Kavango East Governor Julius Hambyuka has said the government will assist the family that lost three children in a lightning strike last week.
