Omuthiya Constituency Councillor Erastus Nekomba has called on nurses to love their work, saying nursing is a calling and not just a job.

Nekomba paid a visit to Omuthiya District Hospital and Omuthiya Health Care Centre to familiarise himself with their operations.

KALKFELD CLINIC RECEIVES NEW AMBULANCE

Otjozondjupa Regional Council has officially handed over a fully equipped ambulance to Kalkfeld Clinic, which has been operating without one for years.

The ambulance is a donation from NamPort's social investment fund, which also purchased another one earmarked for Gam Clinic in Tsumkwe Constituency.

The Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Esperance Luvindao, inaugurated a renal dialysis unit at Katima Mulilo State Hospital today.

The unit was established by repurposing one of the hospital wards at a total investment of over N$1.7 million.
