The National Planning Commission (NPC) hosted the official signing ceremony for a new development cooperation grant today between Namibia and China.

On behalf of the Namibian government, the Director General of the NPC, Dr Kaire Mbuende, thanked China for a grant that totals N$486 million.

More than 1,000 Namibians have so far benefitted from the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme.

In commemoration of the ITEC programme, the High Commission of India held a ceremony with the alumni.
