The United States Department of State has placed Namibia under a Level 2 travel advisory and has encouraged its citizens to "exercise increased caution" when visiting the country due to rising incidents of crime and concerns related to health.

The suspects linked to the violent NAMDIA robbery are set to make their second appearance before the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court this Friday.

The case involves the theft of diamonds valued at N$315 million.

The Namibia National Student Organisation (NANSO) is demanding immediate action from the police regarding the murder of two young learners at K.W. Von Mares Combined School in Okahandja.
