Emeritus Dean Stefanus Tiboth, a long-serving clergyman of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Namibia (ELCRN), was laid to rest in his hometown of Berseba in the ||Kharas Region on Saturday.

Vice-President Lucia Witbooi and Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare paid homage to the bereaved family of the late liberation struggle veteran Emeritus Dean Stephanus Tiboth in Keetmanshoop.

Tiboth died on Monday at the age of 80.

Former President Hifikepunye Pohamba has paid tribute to the late Ovambanderu Traditional Authority senior councillor, Gerson Kunomundu Katjirua, remembering him as a selfless leader who served his community tirelessly.
