Namibia's judiciary is taking steps to bridge critical technological gaps in its justice system, moving from fragmented, outdated infrastructure to a unified digital future.

High Court Judge Philanda Christian has expressed frustration with the state’s attempts to delay court proceedings concerning the legalization of cannabis. The government requested additional time for the Law Reform and Development Commission (LRDC) to study and review the country’s drug laws.

The Magistrates and Judges Association (MJA) celebrated its 30th anniversary on Friday, alongside the launch of its official website.

The website aims to promote transparency and strengthen connections among members across the country.
