Members of Parliament in the National Assembly have raised concerns over the continued allocation of funds to projects still at the feasibility study stage, noting that some of these studies are yet to be completed.
Over 50% of Namibia's research infrastructure is concentrated in the |Khomas and Erongo Regions, while no research facilities exist in Hardap, Ohangwena, and Kavango West regions.
These are part of findings contained in the just-launched Namibia's Research Infrastructure Survey Report.
The Kavango West Regional Development Coordinating Committee has concluded its deliberations on the budget allocation of close to N$400 million for the 2025/2026 financial year.
