Former DTA Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mwilima has died at the age of 70.
According to the family spokesperson, Dr. Cedric Limbo, Mwilima died in a Windhoek hospital today.

Tributes continue to pour in for the late Swapo Party liberation stalwart Erkki Nghimtina as many reminisce on his life pre- and post-independence.
Nghimtina died on Sunday, aged 77.
Swapo Party liberation stalwart Erkki Nghimtina died this afternoon at his homestead in Edundja village in the Ohangwena Region.
His death was confirmed by the Ohangwena Police Regional Commander, Commissioner Ottilie Kashuupulwa.
The late Diina Jacob, the mother of Namibian Broadcasting Corporation Board Chairperson Lazarus Jacobs, was buried at Olukonda in the Oshikoto Region.
The late Jacob died on 6 January, aged 87.
Veteran educationalist and trailblazer Maria Kusch, who broke racial barriers in the education sector, was buried in her hometown of Keetmanshoop.
She died at the age of 83.
The former manager of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation's (NBC) Funkhaus, Lucia Engombe, has died aged 53.
Engombe's death was confirmed by a close family member, who said she died following an illness at the Oshakati State Hospital.
Seasoned corporate executive Theo Mberirua died at the age of 63 in a Windhoek hospital last night.
Family members confirmed that the late Mberirua passed away after a short illness.

Eneas died on the 24th of October at Oshakati Intermediate Hospital after a short illness.
The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation's (NBC) veteran cameraman, Eddy Eneas, has died aged 58 after a short illness.
Eneas, a veteran of the liberation struggle, previously served in the Namibian Defence Force (NDF) before joining the NBC.
He served the corporation for more than 20 years.
