Namibia's ties with the international community continue to receive boosts, as newly accredited diplomats outlined plans to deepen cooperation in energy, tourism and education sectors.

Six Heads of Mission presented their letters of credence to President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at State House.

SADC FOREIGN MINISTERS TO MEET IN KRUGER PARK RETREAT

Foreign Affairs ministers from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) are expected to convene a retreat at the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga to chart a unified regional response to global geopolitical shifts.

The retreat will run from May 22nd to the 24th.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has urged former Heads of Mission to use their international experience and networks to support Namibia's development agenda.

Nandi-Ndaitwah officially welcomed home a group of 15 former ambassadors and high commissioners who completed their diplomatic tours of duty.
