The wastewater infrastructure in Koës Village is facing severe strain, with the oxidation ponds on the brink of overflowing and contaminating underground water. 

This was revealed by the Koes Village Council Acting CEO Johannes Brand during the council's engagement with the Governor of ||Kharas Region.

Residents of Okorukurure Village in Otjinene are capitalising on abundant underground water to venture into crop production.

A farmer at Okorukurure village, Petoorua Mujoro, stressed the inhabitants came together 20 years ago and agreed that every household should own a garden for food security.
