Caprivi Senior Secondary School in the Zambezi Region received a donation of N$430,000 from the Chinese embassy for the purchase of tables and chairs.

The Education Directorate in the Zambezi Region has closed down Caprivi Senior Secondary School for two days to prevent a sewage spill. 

 Education Inspector for Katima Mulilo Circuit, Rosco Lukubwe, said the school closure will allow the Works Department and Town Council to unblock the system.

Hostel learners at Caprivi Senior Secondary School boycotted lunch at the dining hall this afternoon after sewage infested the path from the hostel.

They claim that the ongoing issue, unresolved for over three years, poses health risks.
