Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare has defended the government’s handling of the telecommunications regulator’s decision not to approve a license for the US-owned satellite-based internet service, Starlink.

The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) has extended its appreciation to President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, following the government's recent decision to recognise the Baster Gemeente Traditional Authority and the approval of Herbert Britz as its designated Kaptein.
