Namibia has recorded significant progress in financial inclusion, with 86% of adults now financially included, marking an improvement from 78% recorded in 2017.

This was contained in the latest Namibia Financial Inclusion Survey released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA).

In order for any economy to thrive, strong leadership, strategic planning and a skilled workforce are essential. However, Namibia has seen a growing number of graduates struggling to find employment, particularly in the education and nursing sectors.

Namibia is positioning itself as a key player in the global green energy transition, with growing investments in green hydrogen and biomass production. Projects such as the Daures Green Hydrogen Village are already laying the foundation for a new energy future. 

Governments, institutions, communities and individuals have been urged to contribute in meaningful ways to women in society through giving them opportunities to gain innovation, leadership and progress.
