WAD conducts GBV Workshop for male police officers

The Women's Action for Development (WAD) conducted a five-day' workshop on gender-based violence (GBV) for male police officers.

The workshop, which was held at Rundu, was attended by members of the force from all the country's 14 regions.

Keetmanshoop residents accuse municipality of nepotism

A group of Keetmanshoop residents alleged nepotism in the appointments at the municipality as well as unfair labour practices. 

The protesters, in a petition, accused the acting HR Strategic Executive Manager, Adam Isaack, of alleged nepotism.

NamRA donates medical equipment to Health Ministry

The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) has donated medical equipment to the Ministry of Health and Social Services. 

The items that were handed over have been in the state warehouses for nearly two years after they were confiscated from traders at different points of entry due to non-compliance. 

Former nbc Kaisames FM Manager Joseph !Garab dies

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) has extended condolences to the bereaved family of former nbc Kaisames FM Manager Joseph !Garab. 

!Garab died at his farm near Khorixas on Tuesday, aged 65.
