President Hage Geingob has achieved the intended objective of fostering closer ties with the international community, and Namibia's contribution is being heard on various bilateral and multilateral platforms.

President Hage Geingob is calling on Namibians and the citizens of the SADC region at large to nurture and intensify a culture of peace and stability.

Dr Geingob's call comes as the world marks the United Nations International Day of Non-Violence on the 2nd of October.

President Hage Geingob says the presence of women in the line of leadership succession is a demonstration of the strides Namibia and the Swapo Party have made in gender equality.
