SOUTH KOREA DONATES RICE FOR DROUGHT RELIEF

South Korea, in collaboration with the United Nations World Food Programme, has donated close to 5,000 metric tonnes of rice to support the drought relief programme.

The donation, valued at N$61 million, will be distributed across all 14 regions to vulnerable communities and indigenous groups.

The memorial services of veteran musician Siegfried "Ou Jomo" !Haoseb, widely regarded as the country's "Godfather of Drums" will be held this Sunday (15th March) at his residence in Katutura.

Haoseb died this week at the age of 59.
