Construction of Makanga-Masida roads commence

Through the Ministry of Works and Transport, the Namibian government will fund the construction of a 6.58-kilometre gravel access road project in Makanga-Masida settlements.

24 streetlights to be installed along Swakopmund River bridge

Regional electricity distributor Erongo RED has joined forces with the Road Fund Administration (RFA) and the Roads Authority (RA) to install 24 streetlights along the Swakopmund River bridge.

The lights will be installed for N$4.4 million.

Katima Mulilo inaugurates new traffic lights

Katima Mulilo now boasts a new set of traffic lights situated at the junction of Sam Nujoma Avenue and Mafuta Road.

At the commissioning of the traffic lights, Mayor John Ntemwa said the new set of traffic lights was necessitated by increased traffic in the town.

RA issues public notice for scheduled blasting near Windhoek-Rehoboth Road

The Roads Authority has issued a public notice to all road users regarding scheduled blasting operations on a construction site near the Windhoek-Rehoboth Road. 

The fourth blasting took place on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, approximately one kilometer from the Police Road Block. 

Great strides made on A1 dual carriage road
