Over 600 new voters registered in ||Kharas for upcoming elections

More than 600 new voters across the ||Kharas Region had registered during the supplementary registration of voters to participate in the November Local Authorities and Regional Councils elections by Thursday.

The supplementary registration began on Monday and runs until 19 August.

Eight households at Blouwes village in the ||Kharas Region have been connected to the national electricity grid.

This was done through an electrification project undertaken by the Swapo Party national leaders assigned to the region in collaboration with the local community.
