The town of Rehoboth has come under scrutiny for drug use following the arrest of five individuals on drug-related charges.
Among those arrested are Naomi Fisch and her boyfriend, Steven Schneiders.
The mother of one of the accused in the Rehoboth drug case, Shirley Beukes (62), says she wants her son to remain in custody.
Beukes told NBC News her son, Menschel Beukes (33), has repeatedly caused her hardship.
The Namibian Police have seized illicit drugs valued at over N$106 million and arrested 3,264 suspects between January 2023 and December 2024.

Obed Chabani (48), who is facing charges of possession and dealing in cannabis worth over N$300,000, has been remanded in custody following his appearance in the Outjo Magistrates' Court.
