Police in the Erongo Region have arrested 27-year-old Jessica Gaes as a sixth suspect in connection with the disappearance and death of Matheus Sheehama at Walvis Bay.

Valencia Uranium Mine in the Erongo Region has marked its first official blast since the company acquired an Exclusive Prospecting Licence in 2005.

The first official blast resulted in a celebration at the Valencia uranium mine, located about 40 kilometres from Arandis.

This is according to education stakeholders who took part in the annual consultative meeting at Swakopmund.
