Cabinet has directed the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform to conduct a feasibility study over the 2024/25–2025/26 financial years in this respect.

NamWater brings relief to village along Etaka Uuvudhiya Earth Canal

NamWater has switched on a pump at the Olushandja Dam South Wall Pump Station, releasing water into the Etaka Uuvudhiya Earth Canal, to assist in mitigating the critical shortage of water in villages along the canal.

The water corporation has invested N$3.9 million in the undertaking. 

RCA INTERVIEW | Veterinary Cordon Fence

Plans to move the Veterinary Cordon Fence, which is also known as the Red Line, further north are in place.

This was recently announced by the Minister of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform, Carl Schlettwein, who declared some northern areas that were previously impacted by the fence disease-free.

MAWLR review first quarter performance
