Various community media houses and industry stakeholders gathered in Otjiwarongo for a consultative workshop to finalise the draft of the Community Media Policy Framework. 

The Information and Communication Technology Minister, Dr Peya Mushelenga, stressed that the role of the media as the fourth pillar of democracy is indisputable while reminding members of the fourth estate about the importance of responsible journalism.

Media houses had an opportunity to learn more about the Motor Vehicle Accidents Fund at a media workshop held in the capital on Friday.

The aim of the workshop was to help journalists gain a deeper understanding of the fund's operations.
