||Kharas youth praised for striving towards achieving economic independence

||Kharas Governor Aletha Frederick has praised the youth of Bethanie Village for constantly striving towards achieving economic independence.

Addressing guests at a fundraising dinner, Frederick said it was pleasing to see that young people realised they needed to do more to provide solutions to their daily life challenges.

The dinner was organised by the Begin to Imagine youth group to raise funds for their planned Youth Talent Expo at the tiny settlement next month.

Rundu Town Council raises N$300 000 for annual trade fair

Rundu Town Council's annual Trade Fair Fundraising Dinner raised more than N $300,000 for the upcoming event.

The trade fair is scheduled to start on the 28th of this month and run until the fifth of November.

This year's trade fair will be sponsored by Recon Africa with N$150 thousand, while FNB Namibia pledged N$50 thousand.

Speaking at the event, the trade fair's patron, John Mutorwa, urged the event organisers to use the money for its intended purpose.
