Today marks an important event for the Anglican Church in Namibia as St Mary’s in Odibo celebrates its 100-year anniversary. The event honours ten decades of spiritual guidance, education, and cultural heritage that helped shape the lives of countless Namibians.

Debate participants express confidence in new President

The Andimba Toivo ya Toivo Secondary School scooped the Oshana Regional Library Annual Debate Championship award this weekend.

In second place and third, respectively, were the Reverend Juuso Shikongo Secondary School and Dr. Abraham Iiyambo SS, while Nehale Secondary School was placed fourth. 

Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo statue unveiled

Vice-President Nangolo Mbumba unveiled a statue in honour of the late liberation struggle stalwart, Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo, at Ondangwa in the Oshana Region.

Mbumba described the late Ya Toivo as a great freedom fighter, statesman, and a true, patriotic Namibian.
