The Project Never Walk Alone has received a N$400,000 donation from Standard Bank Namibia.
The donation will provide shoes for 1,275 children in the Kunene Region.
In 2023, the project intends to hand over 10,000 pairs of shoes.
Aussenkehr Primary School at Aussenkehr Farms in the ||Kharas Region has phased out the platoon school system - thanks to the recent completion of six new classrooms, courtesy of Mobile Telecommunications Company, MTC.
MTC's Tim Ekandjo - founder of Never Walk Alone - has reiterated that the project itself was the main winner at Saturday night's Boxing and music event at the Country Club and Resort in Windhoek.
The Never Walk Alone initiative held a march on Saturday, well ahead of the upcoming "Fighting for shoes" boxing match between King Tee Dee and Tim Ekandjo at the Windhoek Country Club and Resort.
