|Khomanin community's cries answered with handover of communal land

The land plight of the |Khomanin people is finally heard.

The Minister of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform, Carl Schlettwein, handed over communal land to the |Khomanin Traditional Authority, which said its people have been landless for years.

The Minister of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform commissioned the construction of the Ogongo-Oshakati pipeline replacement project.

The Ogongo-Oshakati pipeline was constructed in the 70s but is now old and no longer supplies sufficient water to Oshakati's residents and surrounding areas.

Phase 2 of Neckartal Dam set for 2025

98 Batswana of Namibian descent will return home this Friday. The group, who will be accompanied by four ministers from Botswana, will be formally received at the Dobe Border Post.

Namibia's Minister of Home Affairs, along with other government officials, will also be present.
