Namibia needs to embrace a knowledge-based economy to accelerate development and ensure that economic opportunities are not concentrated only in major cities and towns. 

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has highlighted that Namibia and China will continue to strengthen their bilateral relations to enhance economic development and create employment opportunities.

A memorandum of understanding on housing development has been signed between Helao Nafidi Town Council, the Shack Dwellers Federation of Namibia, and the Namibia Housing Action Group in Helao Nafidi, Ohangwena Region.

Minister of Urban and Rural Development James Sankwasa has called on Namibians to reject tribalism and corruption, urging unity and collective responsibility in building the nation.

The town of Helao Nafidi in the Ohangwena region will be hosting a business expo this coming weekend, for which the town council has invited the Namibia Motorsport federation to provide spinning and go-karting entertainment for the masses.
