The Namibia Youth Energy Forum, aimed at empowering young people in the energy sector, says it has received an official endorsement from NAMCOR.

NYEF is a youth-led organisation dedicated to empowering young people in the energy sector of Namibia.

In an interview with nbc News, the Interim Executive Director of NYEF, Saarti Shikongo, said the endorsement marks a significant milestone for the forum as it underlines its dedication, hard work, and commitment to empowering young people in the energy sector.

Namibia is looking at capitalising on opportunities being provided for at the China-Africa Internet Development and Cooperation Forum.

The Information and Communication Technology Deputy Minister, Modestus Amutse says much can be achieved in the areas of cyber security and artificial intelligence.

The Ministry of Urban and Rural Development held its fourth decentralisation consultative forum with key stakeholders in the capital today.

Minister, Erastus Uutoni, reminded the stakeholders that bringing services closer to the grassroots level remains one of the of government's top priorities.

The forum will discuss best practices,  progress made over the years and will collectively devise strategies on how to overcome existing stumbling blocks.

Minister of Works and Transport, John Mutorwa, will be joined by the Finnish Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Ville Skinnari, in officiating the opening of the Aviation and Connectivity Forum taking place in Windhoek between Wednesday and Friday.

A media release issued on Sunday by the Namibia Airports Company stated that the event will provide a platform for key aviation industry players and stakeholders to share, tackle, and put into motion ideas on the trajectory that the aviation industry and its related ecosystems over the next few years.
