Oshana regional police recorded two road accidents which claimed a total of three lives last night. The first incident which claimed the life of 35-year-old accident Erick Elvis, a Namibian male happened at Omashekediva village on the Adolf-Onamutayi gravel road at around 21h00 in the evening. It is alleged that the driver, who was alone in a Toyota bakkie, was coming from Onamutai and headed to Adolf Location when he lost control of the vehicle and was thrown out of the vehicle as it rolled. He died on the spot. In a separate incident, two vehicles traveling from different directions collided head on last night at Tolitokini junction in Oshakati at around 04h00. A passenger from the Toyota Hilux Herman Tangeni, a 24-year-old from Oshakati, died on the spot whilst the driver, 25-year-old Joseph Elifas, succumbed to injuries, at the hospital. Another passenger in the same vehicle is said to be in a critical condition. The driver of the Polo Vivo only sustained minor injuries. Police have confirmed that, the next of kin of all three victims have been informed. Police investigations in both accidents continue.
