The Minister of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform, Carl Schlettwein says the agriculture sector has improved, despite the COVID-19 pandemic and drought challenges it faced. Schlettwein said that in 2020 the sector contributed to 9% of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) compared to the 3,6% that is accounted for in the previous year.
