The Directorate of Veterinary Services in the Ministry of Agriculture Water and Forestry has announced an outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease at Kasenu village in the Zambezi Region. The Ministry has now declared areas within the radius of 30 kilometers of Kasenu village as controlled following the confirmation of the outbreak last week Tuesday. All previously issued permits into and out of the controlled areas have been canceled and recalled.
