Economic Planning Minister Tom Alweendo has called for concerted efforts to make the Fifth National Development Plan, NDP5, a success. Alweendo, made the appeal in a statement delivered on his behalf during a regional consultative meeting on NDP5 held at Eenhana in the Ohangwena region on Wednesday. Officials of the ministry and the National Planning Commission met Regional Governor Usko Nghaamwa, Regional and Local Authority Councillors, traditional and church leaders at Eenhana to give their input for NDP5. Alweendo indicated that his delegation wanted to listen to public ideas and concerns on the areas of NDP5 requiring first attention. The minister said collective efforts were necessary as the Government marched forward in addressing its people's concerns.
