Namibian liberation struggle icon, Herman Andimba Toivo ya Toivo has died in Windhoek today. He was 92. Toivo, as he was affectionately known, was an anti-apartheid activist, politician and political prisoner. He was one of the co-founders of SWAPO in 1960. He served 16 years in the Robben Island prison. His death was confirmed by President Hage Geingob on Friday night
