An earthquake with a magnitude of 5,4, which hit at Anker settlement, about 50 kilometres from Kamanjab in the Kunene Region, in the early hours of this morning has caused damage to structures and left some houses with cracks. Some residents said the earthquake was followed by tremors in quick succession.
