The 40th anniversary of the death of former Ovaherero Chief, Clemence Kapuuo, was marked in Windhoek this week. While a number of Ovaherero community members gathered at the Red Flag Commando Hall, another group under the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) assembled at the UN Plaza for the same event.
