Namibia this morning received 75 000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine donated by the government of the Netherlands. The Ministry of Health has however announced that preference will be given to those who have received the first dose of AstraZeneca already. Members of the public who have been waiting to receive their second dose of AstraZeneca should therefore go to the nearest vaccination sites on Tuesday, 10 August. More doses of AstraZeneca are expected to arrive during the course of this month.
