The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) says the invitation for bids to procure COVID-19 vaccines was not meant to bring third-parties into the buying process. According to a statement by the ministry, the invitation was made to manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of the products being sought. Government intends on spending N$583 million on the COVID-19 vaccination rollout plan.
