The 31st independence anniversary at Otjiwarongo is to coincide with the start of the municipality's Biomass Industrial Park, known as BIP. The project is part of the municipality's local economic development agenda, which continues to play a pivotal role in the town's development. As one of the major economic developments on the cards for 2021, the multi-billion-dollar park is aimed at growing the biomass industry.
