Cabinet refutes claims that Land Conference recommendations are ignored

Earlier this week, civil society organisations made public their disappointment with the implementation over the past year, of recommendations contained in the final report of the Commission of Inquiry into Ancestral Land Claims and Restitution. Among these are claims of no progress in implementing those recommendations. Denying all allegations of no progress in the matter, Secretary to Cabinet, George Simataa says 29 resolutions out of a total of 176 have been fully implemented. Simataa spoke to the NBC News team at Swakopmund.
