Plans are underway by the City of Windhoek to relocate homeless people accommodated at Khomasdal Stadium and Katutura Youth Complex, to Brakwater, some 20 kilometres north of Windhoek. The homeless were accommodated at the stadia temporarily following the declaration of the State of Emergency due to the outbreak of COVID-19 last year.
