A clergyman has been elected as mayor of Otavi Town Council before the swearing-in ceremony on Friday. The ceremony to elect new councillors initially was delayed as Otavi is one of the two towns in the Otjozondjupa Region where local authority election results were put under review by the Electoral Commission of Namibia.
