Deputy Minister Jagger says police struggle to apprehend GBV culprits because communities withhold information

The Deputy Minister of Gender Equality, Bernadette Jagger says the police are often struggling to apprehend gender-based violence culprits because communities hold back information. Erongo Governor Neville Andre and Jagger visited the family of the late Shannon Wasserfall at Walvis Bay. It is suspected that Wasserfal died as a result of gender-based violence after her remains were discovered in a shallow grave on the outskirt of the harbour town.
