The Electoral Commission of Namibia says logistical preparations for the Koes, Aroab and Stampriet local authorities as well as the Mariental Rural Constituency are at an advanced stage. ECN is currently consulting on certain legal aspects in respect to the judgement made which are of relevance to these elections. Affected political parties and contestants will also be engaged and voters will be informed on developments, says the ECN in a media statement.
