The Labour Minister wants companies compelling their employees to take COVID-19 vaccinations, to ensure that the move is within their policies, the Labour Act and employment contracts. It also says new workplace policies affecting existing employees' rights should be done by consensus. The Ministry of Labour says government, will not at this point encourage employers to introduce mandatory vaccination at workplaces.
