Environment Ministry commissions upgrade of Etosha National Park boundary fence

The Environment, Forestry and Tourism Ministry officially commissioned the construction and upgrade of the Etosha National Park boundary fence. This voluntary service by the National Youth Council of Namibia (NYC) will be contacted for a period of 3 months which started on 4 October. The ministry has a five-year action plan for the construction and upgrade of the fence with support from external partners who wish to complete the project in the shortest period of time. This service by NYS is part of the activities to be implemented under the MoU that the Ministry of Environment and NYS signed in 2020.
