The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism paid out about N$5 million for human-wildlife conflict last year, through the Game Product Trust Fund. Of the amount, N$2,1 million was paid towards livestock losses, crop damage and N$230 000 to injuries and deaths to humans.
