COVID-19 stigmatisation within the community of the Erongo Region is a cause for concern and this had led to many positive cases not wanting to go into self-isolation or at Government's isolation facilities. The region set up an emergency operations centre at the Walvis Bay Municipality where strategies against the COVID-19 pandemic were being co-ordinated.
