Capacity building and skills development are fundamental to developing a knowledge-based economy as envisioned in the national development plans, and the model of apprenticeship could be a solution to the skills shortage and uplifting young people. These sentiments were shared by various stakeholders at the graduation ceremony of tour-guide apprentices at the Etosha-King Nehale conservancy.
